Karl is a 6-year-old cockapoo, born on a small farm in Michigan. He was the only red puppy of the litter, so his paw-rents knew he was special from the start. They lived in Kenosha, WI before moving to Milwaukee two years ago on a post-pandemic whim. His full name is Karl Pants and occasionally Karlos Pantalones depending on his mood.
Milwaukee Favorites: Karl loves going for walks around the Third Ward and always has to stop in his favorite store, Mod Gen, for a treat and lots of attention. He also loves checking out all the summer events around the city and especially loves the Riverwalk Commons Concert Series.
Favorite Toy: Karl’s toy basket is bigger than he is (thanks to his Gigi), but his favorite toy is his Stitch stuffed animal from the Lilo and Stitch movie.
Favorite Patio/Hangout: Karl loves Riley’s Social House, The Pier Garden at The Starling, Third Ward Beer Garden at Catalano Square
Favorite Place Downtown: Karl’s favorite place in Milwaukee is Catalano Square, nicknamed ‘Karl’s Park’ by his friends and family. He’s been loving the new beer garden and live music there this summer. You can usually catch Karl sitting at a picnic table like a little human. He also likes to dip his toes in the water on the Lakeshore State Park Trail on hot days.
What is Karl most looking forward to at the Downtown Dog Park? Karl loves meeting new dogs and smelling all the smells! He can’t wait to have a new spot to explore and meet new friends.
